Pop Up Pots by Studio Pottery

The aim of Studio Pottery on Eccleston Place, SW1 is to enable people to learn an ancient hands‐on skill which has therapeutic dimensions in an age of increasing mechanisation and creative poverty in the lives of city dwellers. The joy of making in clay is that there are no limits to its appeal across ages and levels of ability. It can be pursued both by the individual and in groups as it can bring people together in a sociable way.
The studio will be predominantly a throwing teaching studio, with a combination of regular classes, and occasional workshops and masterclasses.
'Throwing' is the practice of working with clay on the wheel.
